Chief Executive Officer
Brian has over 20 years of medical industry experience with the most recent 14 years in contract design and manufacturing. Prior to joining Cirtec, Brian was VP/GM at Nypro Healthcare where he led the medical device and consumer health segment, an $180M global design and manufacturing operation. Before Nypro, he was General Manager, Design & Development at Flextronics Medical/Avail Medical Products and was responsible for disposable and electromechanical device design and development. He also worked at several medical OEMs including Medtronic, Baxter Healthcare, Smith & Nephew Endoscopy and Picker International.
Brian holds a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Mercer University in Macon, GA and is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
Chief Financial Officer
Tim is a financial and business leader with over 25 years of experience with Fortune 500 and startup companies. Prior to joining Cirtec, Tim was the Vice President of Finance at Zonare Medical Systems Inc., where he was responsible for all finance, accounting and order administration and co-managed the sale of Zonare to Mindray Medical international. Prior to this Tim was the CFO/COO for Allocade Inc., where he was responsible for all finance and accounting activities, treasury, facilities, purchasing, order administration and human resources.
Tim also held the positions of Director of Finance for sales, service and marketing and Director of Finance for supply chain management at Siemens Medical Solutions, Ultrasound Division. Beginning in 1989, Tim joined Acuson Corporation and held several senior management positions in accounting and corporate finance. Acuson was acquired by Siemens Medical Solutions in November 2000. Tim holds a BS in Finance and an MBA from Santa Clara University.
Vice President of Operations
As Vice President of Operations, James is responsible for manufacturing operations in Los Gatos, CA and Enfield, CT. James has over 25 years of experience in technical operations focused on product launch and scaling operations. He is skilled in performing and managing all aspects of fabrication, production and supply chain and has a strong background in quality control. His most recent experience was in medical contract design & process development for single use disposable and active implant devices.
James has his Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology and Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo and his Master of Science in Operations from Notre Dame de Namur in Belmont California.
